I plan to check on prices of public property/parks filming rights. I think the city hall is where I would get one. Hope they’re low priced for a small non-intrusive scene(s).

If you’re going to be shooting a fight scene where things might get a little rambunctious, it’s very important that your agreement with the owner expressly provide for the terms of any loss or damage to the property. It’s your responsibility to ensure the owner in this situation that his/her property is going to be safe, emphasizing that if anything were to become damaged during the shoot that you will take full responsibility for replacing it or providing compensation.

How would you go about asking permission to film a fight scene (albeit not much of one)? Ineed a battle in my movie to take place at a factory/warehouse although the gunshots would be editing in later and the fighting would all be simulated. Still, I’d imagine this would be a hard thing to get permission for.
