Thanks for making the point that different characters should not all use the same voice/words. I worked on an indie production four years ago, and the writer/director injected a lot of weird phrases that he used in day-to-day life as dialog for all the characters to say. This is definitely to the detriment of the film, since it makes it hard to understand the words spoken and accept the world the film is trying to portray.
